South Shore Academy is committed to student wellbeing and actively promotes a good diet, exercise, regular sleep and relaxation for all its students. All these factors contribute to an improved academic performance and make it more likely that you will enjoy Academy life. The Academy staff supports and enables students to take positive action and responsibility for their physical, social, emotional, moral and spiritual health.

The Academy now works in partnership with a national charity called Place2Be who offer counselling provision in School.
