South Shore Academy was chosen from 196 schools across the country to take part in The Tomorrow’s Engineers EEP Robotics Challenge – an exciting national robotics challenge which saw students involved in “space missions”.
The Tomorrow’s Engineers EEP Robotics Challenge introduces student teams to real-world engineering, technology, robotics and computing challenges. The challenge aims to help students put their school learning into context and discover exciting new careers.
The event was held at the iStem College in Preston and we were competing against 17 other schools. South Shore Academy were winners of the Project Presentation section, in which they developed a response to ‘How can robots help humans explore?’
Our students were a credit to the school and they won a trophy and certificate for their efforts. Massive congratulations to all students who participated.
