Students and staff at SSA worked really hard last week to raise the awareness of bullying and to highlight ways of preventing bullying from happening and how to respond if a bullying incident occurs.

During anti-bullying week every department took part by participating in some form of activity during their lessons. This ranged from making and selling friendship bracelets, selling homemade cakes and biscuits, role plays, group (team building) activities, helping hands and performances in music and drama.

The ambassadors have also been in assemblies talking to every year group about what they have done and how they can help their peers. In addition pupils were also reminded about our ‘anti-bullying’ post-box aimed at anonymously informing staff of any issues.
