The students and staff at South Shore Academy have worked very hard to now become a registered Eco-School.
As an Eco-School we are committed to make a significant environmental difference both at School and in the Community. Mrs Ellis who is our Eco-School co-ordinator has formed a team of students who will be volunteering their time to work on a number of projects to help support the environment and to also work on an action plan of targets which we would like to achieve as a Team. We will also be forming an Eco-School Committee who will meet up every term to discuss and review all Eco based topics and any new ideas moving forward which will help us gain our Bronze Green flag award.
Look out for more Eco updates in the future!!
